Terms of Service
Effective date: November 4, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of shipgarten.com and the website services provided by Shipgarten (“Shipgarten,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.
1. About Our Website
Our website provides information about Shipgarten, upcoming events, food and beverages, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, and related services. It may also allow you to submit inquiries, register for events, schedule a guided tour, buy merchandise from our online store, or access third-party booking, ticketing, and gift card platforms.
These Terms govern website use. Separate ticket conditions, purchase terms, or signed event agreements may apply to particular transactions.
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. These Terms do not replace any privacy choices or consent required by applicable law.
2. Event Information
Please review the individual event page for its date, time, location, admission requirements, age restrictions, and other relevant conditions.
Event schedules, programming, performers, and availability may change. We may update listings to reflect changes, postponements, cancellations, or corrections.
If information on the website appears inconsistent or unclear, contact us before making arrangements or purchasing tickets. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
3. Tickets and Registrations
Some events offer free registration, while others require paid tickets or registration through an outside organizer.
When registering, you agree to provide accurate information and review the conditions presented for that event.
An event ticket or registration does not, by itself, include a reserved table, private area, food, beverages, or other benefits unless expressly stated in the applicable listing or booking confirmation.
Submitting a form or beginning checkout does not establish a completed registration. Please refer to the confirmation issued by Shipgarten or the relevant ticketing provider.
4. Third-Party Events and Services
Our website may link to or embed services operated by other businesses, including event promoters, ticketing providers, scheduling tools, form providers, payment processors, gift card providers, and maps.
When a third party handles a booking or purchase, its applicable terms and privacy policy also govern your interaction with that service.
Please review the event listing and checkout information to identify the organizer, ticket provider, and party responsible for purchase-related support.
Links to third-party services do not mean that Shipgarten controls their websites, security practices, or independent business operations.
5. Online Store and Gift Cards
Our online store offers merchandise. Product descriptions, prices, and availability are shown on the store pages and may change. Payments for store orders are processed through our payment processor at checkout. Merchandise is produced and shipped by Printify, a print-on-demand provider.
Gift cards are sold through Toast on a page operated by Toast. The terms shown by Toast at purchase apply to gift cards.
Shipping, delivery, returns, exchanges, and refunds for store merchandise are handled by Printify under its own policies. If you have a question about an order, contact us at info@shipgarten.com.
6. Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds
Cancellation, rescheduling, transfer, and refund conditions depend on the event and the party handling the transaction.
For paid tickets, review the policy displayed before purchase. For tickets sold by an outside promoter or platform, direct purchase-related questions to the provider identified in your confirmation.
For bookings handled directly by Shipgarten, contact us using the information below.
Nothing in these Terms creates a blanket no-refund policy or overrides rights provided by applicable law.
7. Private and Corporate Event Inquiries
Submitting an inquiry, requesting a quote, scheduling a tour, or discussing a possible event does not confirm a reservation or guarantee a date, space, package, or price.
A private or corporate event is confirmed according to the separate booking process and agreement provided for that event.
Specific pricing, minimums, deposits, cancellation conditions, and included services will be addressed in the applicable proposal or agreement.
General website descriptions do not replace a written event agreement.
8. Age Restrictions and Alcohol
Age requirements vary by event. Please check the individual listing before registering or attending.
Alcohol may only be purchased or consumed by individuals who are at least 21 years old and meet applicable identification requirements.
A ticket or registration does not override an event’s age restrictions or applicable alcohol laws.
9. Acceptable Website Use
You agree not to:
- Submit fraudulent registrations or knowingly inaccurate inquiries.
- Impersonate another person or submit information without appropriate authorization.
- Attempt to access accounts, systems, or information without authorization.
- Distribute malicious software or interfere with website security or operation.
- Use the website for unlawful activity.
- Harvest personal information from the website without authorization.
We may restrict website access or reject fraudulent submissions where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our business, or other users.
10. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Website text, designs, photographs, graphics, logos, and other materials belong to Shipgarten or their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view the website and share links to publicly available pages for personal, noncommercial purposes.
Except as permitted by law or with the relevant owner’s permission, you may not reproduce, modify, sell, or commercially exploit website content.
Third-party names, trademarks, and event artwork remain the property of their respective owners.
11. Website Availability and Limitations
We aim to provide useful and accurate information, but the website may occasionally contain errors, experience interruptions, or become temporarily unavailable.
To the extent permitted by law, the website and its informational content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that access will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, Shipgarten will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of, or inability to access, this website.
These limitations concern website use. They do not waive liability that cannot legally be excluded, alter a signed agreement, or limit nonwaivable consumer rights.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply to you.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as our website or services change. The revised version will display an updated effective date.
Changes will apply prospectively, except where otherwise permitted by law. They do not automatically replace the terms of an existing signed agreement.
