***Shipgarten opens at 11 AM & the festival runs from 1 PM until 6 PM. The restaurant closes at 2 AM***

Benchtop Proven Theory

IPA – American / 7% ABV / 210 CAL / Norfolk, VA /

This american IPA is designed to create a harmonious blend of hop flavors, aromas, and a refreshing bitterness. You will find a blend of tropical fruit, berries, and a touch of pine for balance. The malt bill has just enough complexity to complement the hops. The finish is dry despite the silky mouthfeel.

Caboose Hobo Imperial Stout w/Vanilla Bean

Stout – Imperial / 8% ABV / 24 IBU / 240 CAL / Vienna, VA /

One of the first beers ever brewed at Caboose. Made with a blend of roasted, chocolate, black and Munich malts, then aged on real Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans. Toffee and caramel notes give way to the smooth, yet rich flavors of coffee and vanilla. Where did the name come from? The name is a nod to the hobos who used to freight hop from town to town.

Lost Rhino My Imaginary Girlfriend (MIG IPA)

Star Date 2012.156 Brewer’s Log – We intercepted the following alien transmission: My Imaginary Girlfriend is brewed with all the HOPS and fermented in your Mom’s basement. Hop additions were determined by the skill of a 4th Level Mage and the flick of his 8-sided polyhedral die. Best enjoyed before or after your favorite role-playing game.

Mustang Sally PHreak Sour Peach & Tangerine

Sour – Fruited / 6.2% ABV / 186 CAL / Chantilly, VA /

Sour ale with peach & tangerine. A Phreak series sour.

Nepenthe Cerebra

IPA – Other / 4.5% ABV / 135 CAL / Baltimore, MD /

Cerebra is grown from 2-row, wheat, oats, and golden promise. It shares a hop blend with its progenitor, utilizing Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo to process at one quadrillion petaflops. All this brain comes at the cost of braun: Cerebra is juicy, light, and crushable. At just 4.5%, it’ll leave your synapses firing. Beebweepa’s synaptic enhancement unit has evolved.

Right Proper Håxan

Named after the silent era Scandinavian documentary on witchcraft, Håxan is brewed with an assortment of roasted malts and oats. Full bodied with round notes of coffee and dark chocolate.

Our house IPA that’s heavy on the Mosaic with juicy notes of cantaloupe, melon, orange, and blueberry.

Thin Man Super Freak

IPA – New England / 5.8% ABV / 174 CAL / Buffalo, NY /

This uber-crushable Hazy IPA has aromas of Lemon Peel, Grapefruit, and Mango. Boasting a clean and refreshing mouthfeel for radical consumption, the flavors follow lemon, lavender, honey, mango, and bitter orange.

Tröegs Independent Double Blizzard

IPA – Imperial / 8.3% ABV / 72 IBU / 249 CAL / Hershey, PA /

This is Blizzard of Hops … turned up to 11. For Double Blizzard, we used a cooler temperature for the kettle hop additions, softening the character of the Centennial, Chinook and El Dorado. On the cold side, we dry-hopped with four pounds per barrel of Chinook and Galaxy. At 8.3% ABV, we’re into semi-hazy Double IPA territory, and we like it here.

Väsen The Mango Tango Otter

Sour – Fruited Gose / 5.5% ABV / 7 IBU / 165 CAL / Richmond, VA /

We’ve brewed a lively, effervescent gose to brighten up your winter with tropical flavor. Citra hops, a combination of European and Indian coriander, and hundreds of pounds of mango and tangerine conribute well-rounded and surprisingly complex fruity flavors to this extremely smooth sour ale.
