(VBC) Free Verse \nIPA – New England ⁄ 6.8% ABV ⁄ Williamsburg\, VA\n– Tropical\, Hazy\, Juicy – \nThis juicy\, tropical\, and hazy IPA expresses itself without limitation thanks to copious helpings of Azacca and Chinook Hops. \nCAN NOTE! Some naturally occurring sediment is normal and expected. \nThe Virginia Beer Co. (VBC) Prost! \nAltbier – Traditional ⁄ 5% ABV ⁄ Williamsburg\, VA\nThis German-style Altbier is malty\, traditional\, & autumnal. Our recipe is a nod to the Rhineland roots of the style: a top-fermented\, copper-coloured “Oktoberfest Ale”. Warming hints of dark chocolate & freshly browned bread blend with spicy aromas meant to inspire the feeling of the fall biergarten season. Prost! \nCOMMONWEALTH BREWERY \nCommonwealth Papi Chulo \nIPA – New England ⁄ 6.5% ABV ⁄ 56 IBU ⁄ Virginia Beach\, VA\nBig\, round\, all the hops monster of fruit and dank herbs. Hazy\, unfiltered\, huge body and balanced bitterness. \nCommonwealth Oktoberfest \nMärzen ⁄ 5.1% ABV ⁄ 25 IBU ⁄ Virginia Beach\, VA \nA super crushable\, smooth\, lightly malt forward lager is the perfect beer for fall \nPORT CITY \nPort City Oktoberfest \nMärzen ⁄ 5.2% ABV ⁄ 24 IBU ⁄ Alexandria\, VA\nPort City Oktoberfest is a Märzen-style lager\, brewed with German malts and hops\, and served in the “Keller” or “Zwickel” style – meaning unfiltered and naturally carbonated. This bright amber beer has subtle flavors of toasted bread\, leading to a clean\, dry finish punctuated by just a touch of Noble hops \nPort City German Pilsner \nKellerbier ⁄ 4.6% ABV ⁄ 35 IBU ⁄ Alexandria\, VA\nLooking to Germany for inspiration\, our German Pilsner is drier and blonder than the classic Bohemian-style pilsner. Brewed with pilsner malt and Noble hops\, German Pilsner has a floral and spicy aroma with flavors of lightly sweet malt\, finishing firm and dry on the palate. This refreshing pilsner is served in the “Keller” style\, meaning unfiltered and naturally carbonated. Beauty in simplicity\, as this two malt and three hop lager won a gold medal at the 2019 GABF® in the Kellerbier/Zwickelbier category. \nOUTER RANGE BREWERY \nOuter Range Gnarly Trees \nIPA – American ⁄ 6.4% ABV ⁄ Frisco\, CO\nGnarly Trees West Coast IPA Hops: Simcoe • Mosaic • Citra Tasting Notes: Passion Fruit • White grape • Pine Resin ABV: 6.4% \nOuter Range Mistline \nIPA – New England ⁄ 6.8% ABV ⁄ Frisco\, CO \nHops: Motueka • Krush Cryo Tasting Notes: Lime • Dank • Soft ABV: 6.8% \nSample tickets available for $3/ticket. Each sample is a 3oz pour. 3 tickets gets you a full 16oz beer. Samples available all day at all bars. \nSample card available for $25 with 10 samples and free swag. \nHistory of Oktoberfest: \nOktoberfest is the world’s largest beer festival. Held annually in Munich\, Bavaria\, Germany\, it is a folk festival running from mid or late September into October (this year it officially starts in Munich on September 21st)\, with more than 6 million people from around the world in attendance every year. Locally\, it is often called the Wiesn\, after the colloquial name for the fairgrounds (Theresienwiese). Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture\, having been held since 1810. \nKronprinz (Crown Prince) Ludwig (1786-1868)\, later King Ludwig I (reign: 1825-1848)\, married Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen on October 12\, 1810. The citizens of Munich were invited to attend the festivities held on the fields in front of the city gates to celebrate the royal event. The fields were named Theresienwiese (“Theresa’s Meadow”) in honour of the Crown Princess\, and have kept that name ever since\, although the locals have since abbreviated the name simply to the “Wiesn”. Horse races\, in the tradition of the 15th century Scharlachrennen (Scarlet Race at Karlstor)\, were held on October 17 to honor the newlyweds. Every year since this tradition has been repeated and is now called “Oktoberfest”. \nADDITIONALLY: \n➳40+ beer & cider samples from local breweries to choose from \n➳ Photo Booth with Accessories \n➳ Great food \n➳ Frozen Drinks Menu \n➳Dog Friendly (Check out our Dog menu\, play in the dog park\, or just bring your pup along) \n➳ Outdoor Games & Activities \n➳ Giveaways\, Competitions & Prizes \n➳ Kids Corner with Face Painting\, Moon Bounce\, Crafts and more! \nFREE PARKING\n1700 Old Meadow Road\, McLean\, VA 22102\nParking is conveniently located five minutes away by foot and we offer a completely free\, pet friendly\, and complimentary Shuttle Bus service that runs on a continuous loop to and from the venue and parking lot! \nShuttle bus hours: \nWeekdays 3pm-close \nWeekends 11am-close \nShuttle rides can be requested outside of continuous service hours by calling or texting (703)-712-7481 \n
